E-Dub Pale Ale

The E-Dub Pale Ale has a good flavor. It has a Sierra Nevada like citrus tone from the California Ale Yeast. It's a little light on the alcohol content at 3.7%. I'm from Utah where all beer is 3.2%, so it's still got more alcohol than anything you could buy in an entire state. This photo is the black and white version of the labels for the bottles.

VIIXER IPA

The singletrack blog seems to have become more about beer than bikes, but cycling is never far from my mind (check out the new Richmond Slickrock video on you tube). Loco and I went on a night ride last night which was quite enjoyable. The new climb on Belle Isle is riduculously fun, as are all of the trails that the wonderful Richmond MORE folks have designed and built.

The latest Zymurgy event of the phat nancy brewers is a continually hopped IPA. The brew is ready to transfer for secondary fermentation where we plan to let it sit for at least 2 weeks with some dry hops. When it's ready it should be an ale that has very complex hop character.

E Dub Pale is in the secondary...

That is right, the second beer crafted by Phat Nancy Brewers is almost ready to bottle. The picture below is of East West Fusion Pale Ale. We are excited, you should be too.
